Wow!!!! My kids and I (14 and 16) ate there tonight. Our server was WONDERFUL - he kept checking on us. We don’t speak Portuguese - we speak English and a little bit of Spanish. He was so friendly and made us smile. The portions are HUGE and delicious! We weren’t 100% sure what we ordered, but we loved all of it! Would go back again!

A friend of mine from Rio went there once, to attend to a meeting with friends, never mind, he would feel the worst experience ever. Food not fresh , small amount on portions, and tasteless food just to name few. I would say not recommend even to my worst enemy. Next time I will be more selective trying new restaurants. Good steak, very large portions and friendly staff (plus can feel the history here). A bit pricey though

Restaurant is about 150 years old. Very traditional. Their food is very good. Got some milanesa beef that was delicious.

It is one of the most traditional restaurants in Rio de Janeiro serving great Brazilian food for over 120 years. Good selection of beers. Food portions are huge please share it. Staff sometimes is not friendly and coffee could be better.
