The worst Ole and Steen branch in London. The staff is not welcoming at all and very unfriendly. The Tables often go uncleared, with dirty plates and cups left scattered, and customers are left to clean up before sitting down. The team members appear more interested in socializing between them and making jokes than providing good service. I'd recommend avoiding this location!
2 months agoThis has become my favourite place for coffee since moving to Greenwich! The coffee is the BEST in the area as well as the delicious pastries and bread. Thanks for always serving with a smile :)
2 months agoVisited this location and had the pleasure of being served by Ali, he was helpful, polite and patient when I was deciding what to order. He recommended me the cinnamon social and tuna melt which were delightful. I was served a deciduous latte and will be sure to make this my regular cafe!
a week agoCame on a Tuesday morning and it was so busy but the staff were all so smiley and helpful it made a huge difference. We had the turkey toastie and the tuna melt and it was delicious, the girl on the till also suggested a cinnamon slice and she even warmed it up a bit for us. The wait on coffee was not long considering there were so many people and only saw 3 people working in the cafe. Will come back for sure!
a week agoThe Ole Steen team in Greenwich leaves much to be desired. Their customer service is the worst, lacking in proper explanations to customers. I've visited numerous cafes in the area, and they outperform Ole Steen in this regard. While the food is good, Ole Steen should invest in better training for their staff to ensure a more positive customer experience. An instance that exemplifies this is when I requested a simple glass of water. I had to wait for approximately 3 minutes, even though it wasn't a busy time. The person making coffee prioritized serving others waiting for coffee over my request. As a paying customer at Ole Steen today, this experience left me dissatisfied. Particularly, an employee named KAREN should be better trained at the tills to avoid such negative customer experiences. Mangers should look into it or else you won't have a proper customer base.
