I wanted to like this so bad but honestly I don’t see myself going back. The fish in the Baja taco is a fish a stick that did not taste fresh, the refried beans in the burrito were too salty and lardy and the horchata ice cream tasted just like vanilla ice cream.

Why people complain about this place I have no clue. It has good service, clean environment and good food for good price. I still feel this place is underrated. Enough with the 3 stars and below please! This is our neighborhood spot for mexican food. Nuff said. We usually pig out after long hikes around Redwood Regional Park in Oakland or Tilden in Berkeley. After hiking over 8 miles you do get hungry for some burrito you know what I mean? ;) Between the two of us we shared: - spicy steak burrito - 2 veg tamales as side dish We always share the spicy steak burrito. It's a must try people!!! It's saucy and delicious. Not too light and not too heavy if you share it. Not enough for two people but too much for one so we usually split it and order a side dish like tamales and it works out great. The veg tamales were lovely. We ordered 1 red sauce and green to try. Both were unique and lovely. Recently people had complained about change in service and ordering so was surprised to find out their service is still great as it used to be. No mess ups no confusion, no lateness. Friendly, fast and efficient.

Horrible. Why I stayed, I'm not sure. The manager was incredibly incompetent. The staff had no idea what they were doing. There was an odor inside the restaurant as if it needed a good cleaning. We had to ask 3 times for drinks and accessories. Atmosphere? What Atmosphere? That should have been a red flag. There was nobody in there. My husband went in the back to use the bathroom and he saw the so-called manager sitting in a corner watching and laughing at tik tok videos. After using Yelp for several years ; this has to be the worst review I ever gave. I would give it zero stars if I could.

This place is absolutely terrible! Unprofessional and actually criminal/fraudulent to be technical. Yesterday (6/29/2023) We purchased a large food order for pick up today (6/30/2023) for an event to feed our high school youth. They processed our payment of $700 dollars on 6/29/2023. And now today (6/30/2023) when its time for us to pick up our food: they are closed. Not answering their phone. No communication. So they pretty much robbed us out of $700 dollars. We will be making report to our bank and taking legal action on thie matter.
