I have been going here for 35 years. This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant. The tastiest salsa and beans ever! My favorites are the regular asada burrito with cheese and corn quesadillas.

There use to be a line out the door. They had the ideal mix of beans and cabbage with tomatoes. The burritos are larger now, I suppose to compete with other places. They use to be rolled very tight, easier to hold and when finished, it wasn’t a feeling of over eating, but satisfying. Now, there’s no line out the door, the burritos are huge, loosely rolled and very little cabbage and tomatoes are added. It’s sad to see that the changes don’t favor the long history of being the place for fantastic food!

One of the very best burritos! Definitely get it grilled/dorado. And their salsa is outstanding! Tacos Moreno is the one place we always go to whenever we are in Santa Cruz.

A great neighborhood taqueria. I love their vegetarian tacos because the beans are whole. Probably one of the last affordable places in Santa Cruz.

A Santa Cruz County, All Star!! A most beloved taco shop, whose burrito Al Pastor has won many awards (as well as other dishes).- If I’m visiting I’m going here daily.
