Today, we made a stop at Stagnaro Bros on the pier for lunch. It was our first visit, and we were pleasantly surprised by the freshness and deliciousness of everything we ordered. Our server, Fernando, mentioned that he usually worked as a bartender, but today marked his first day as a server. We found him to be exceptionally kind and skilled, and we're confident he'll excel in both roles. For our meal, we tried the clam chowder, chili lime prawn tacos, and fish and chips. The portions were generously sized, and even though we shared, we still had to take home two large, delicious soft tacos. Parking on the pier was a bit challenging today due to the beautiful weather, with seals making an appearance. Normally, in my experience, parking is easier. It's worth noting that it wasn't expensive to park on the pier. I recommend this restaurant for families or casual outings. It has a relaxed seafood vibe, a fantastic view of the water and boardwalk, and it's a great spot for people-watching. They also offer a to-go counter, although we dined in this time. This being our first experience, we'll see how things go in the future, but all in all, we were extremely satisfied with our lunch choice today.

Outstanding place for seafood! I ordered the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl and a peach on the beach Martini. My family and I enjoyed what we all ordered. sourdough dinner rolls are a must here! Highly recommend this seafood establishment. Great area and what better way to eat seafood than on the wharf looking out onto the shores of Santa Cruz.

So I was excited to eat here because of the reputation. Our party had the calamari (highly recommend, it had a crispy exterior with a juicy, meaty, center), fish & chips, lobster and lobster with steak. I had the veggies, fries and clam chowder with my lobster and steak. The veggies were crisp and fresh, the clam chowder had generous portions of clam and the fried were ON POINT!!! My only issue was the steak was supposed to be medium and it was well done. Also, the lobster was tasty...but undercooked in some areas. In their defense, they were slammed busy. They removed the steak off the bill and I didn't bring up the lobster. I feel this is a great place that just had a hiccup with them being so busy. Staff was friendly and super responsive, I appreciated them.

Fish Tacos are highly Recommended. Younger Staff are great and friendly, the food is good also. It's just the owner who sits behind the cashier doesn't seem to be the nicest person to ask for a window bench even though there were some spots few available. That was the only thing we noticed from our experience.

I really liked this place, we just waited like 15/20 minutes to be seat, our server was a really nice lady and the food was almost perfect. The only thing I didn’t like that much were the coconut prawns (I felt like it was too sweet with the coconut and the sauce together) and the bread wasn’t that good. But I definitely loved the Rigatoni pasta and the Clam Chowder, also the service was fast even tho it was full.
