Very nice traditional German food and Frankfurt food. We had boiled beef, boiled pork with green sauce, etc. Everything is absolutely gorgeous. The place is quite noisy and you need to sit on hard benches, possibly sharing table with strangers. But that is how a traditional restaurant like this would be.

One of my favorite authentic German restaurants in Frankfurt. Very popular so avoid rush hours or make reservation in advance. Delicious Schnitzel big portions and good quality. Excellent service but bit slow as well. Can't wait to visit again during summer and sit outside in the beautiful yard.

Loved both the Weinerschnitzel with Frankfurt Green sauce and the pork medallions with the mushroom gravy! Oh totally scrumptious with Apple wine to wash it down the gizzard. Only downside is the Biergarten is small and they force couples to share picnic tables so you have zero privacy. Let me know if you notice two of the waitresses are identical twins.

Had the spare ribs, bratwurst, cheese noodles (tasted like Mac n Cheese, yummm). Everything was delicious. We sat in the outdoor garden, beautiful weather. Definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic German cuisine!

This is a must visit if you are in the mood for local German cuisine. The apple wein was a real big hit and and I highly recommend the snitzl. There is plenty of room outside or inside. Pay attention to the busy times, or you may not find a seat. Our group was around 10, and we had no problem finding a table big enough. Cash payment is highly recommended at this location.
