Double cheesteake/ sauce, onions, & hand cut fries. With great tasting THICK cut pickles, (6)! Food was served hot, and timely manner. All excellent!!

OMG Bert's used to have the best steak sandwich I've ever had in my life. Specifically this rib eye version on a brioche bun, a year ago delicious. Now, the cut was far more fat than meat, it was pretty gross in every bite. Unlike last year when I had decent fries and creamed cabbage, I opted for a salad with partially wilted lettuce and flavorless tomatoes. I realize tomatoes aren't in season so maybe substitute with a veg that is. I had pickled red beets too, these were delicious at least.

This spot is a little Hidden Gem. We been living in walnutport for a year and been trying local spots in the area. We kept being told to go here. So for Mother's day we tried it and my whole family loved it. The food is awesome and the restaurant is clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Now the only down side is the 1st time we went there the server took forever with everything. The 2nd time the service was a lot faster. So it might have been a fluke. But we still enjoyed it and highly recommend. I've included pictures of both times we went . 1st time was dinner 2nd time was breakfast..

Stopped in for breakfast, very pleasant young woman directed us in, took our coffee order. I had the country fried steak& eggs special. Quite tasty. My friend wanted the homemade corned beef hash, but was a bit disappointed. He's particular though, having grown up in his family's diner. Your mileage may vary. The pancakes with vanilla frosting looked great, but also looked too sweet for me. Glad I stick with the special.

The place is very clean and the food was fantastic. The day we were there there was a large party in the back. They carried out 3 or 4 large trays of plates filled with food. So the time it took to get our food that day was expectedly a little slow. We were seated on the diner side where I could see into the kitchen. The kitchen was clean as well as the food. When we got our food, it was absolutely fantastic! The food had a wonderful flavor that was not only unique, but delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and excellent. From the exterior you wouldn't expect much, but from the time you enter you are treated like family and the food tastes like a very experienced grandma cooked it.
