Good tasting dishes, but we were expecting slightly better for the price point. We had the lobster Mac n Cheese, and the Fish tacos. The Lobster Mac n Cheese was a pretty good dish, and the tacos were plentiful for one person, but had a lot of batter and felt quite heavy eating. The atmosphere was nice (albeit a bit loud) and our server was lovely! We booked ahead to secure a table since it gets busy even in the week.

Went in as a party of two around 5:30PM on Tuesday, this is during happy hour. It was packed! 🛎️ Service was phenomenal. Loved our server; he was attentive and so upbeat. 🥘 Food was great. Definitely loved the spinach artichoke dip. 🍹We were disappointed with the drinks and we tried SEVERAL to be sure (4-5 ea.). Gorgeous, but a strong 2/5, they left more to be desired, unfortunately. They did offer to make something else that wasn’t listed on the menu, but we politely declined. Complimentary dessert was provided instead, which we appreciated. Would still recommend, though!

I had an exceptional experience at the Mermaid Inn, all thanks to Jeremy, our server. His impeccable service and keen attention to detail truly made our visit unforgettable. Jeremy's attentive and friendly demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. I was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge of the menu and his ability to recommend dishes that perfectly suited our tastes. From start to finish, Jeremy ensured that every aspect of our meal was flawless. His dedication to providing top-notch service truly set the tone for an extraordinary evening. I can confidently say that Jeremy is a standout server, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Five stars without a doubt!

We were able to get reservations easily on the Open Table app for a Saturday night. The restaurant was easy to find and a great location right by the Highline. We showed up early and were seated right away. The service was friendly and very attentive. We order the grand seafood tower and it did not disappoint! All of our meals and cocktails were delicious. We were disappointed that there was not a dessert menu BUT there was chocolate pudding for each of us complimentary when the bill came. I highly recommend this place if you're a seafood lover.

A Chelsea gem. Food is great. Fish cooked always to perfection. Service staff very attentive and polite. Never wait long for the food. Take advantage of happy hour! $1.5 oysters!
